Original Vinyl / Curated Selection: Analog vibes
With Close to You, Maxi Priest brought lovers rock to the mainstream, blending reggae smoothness with pop production in a way that still sounds effortless. The title track became a global hit for a reason: warm, weightless, and impossibly catchy. But the whole record delivers, laid-back grooves, clean hooks, and a voice made for summer air.
Part of our curated vintage vinyl collection, this original pressing captures that early-’90s analog charm when crossover didn’t mean compromise. The cover radiates quiet confidence. The wax spins like sunlight through tinted glass.
