“Retrograder”

“Retrograder” from original CWNTR campaign
“The Retrograder” is a machine designed to move backward, in time, memory, or progress, though its true function remains speculative. Rendered in detailed illustration, the device appears patched together from discarded parts: reels, wires, dials, and brass, humming with forgotten purpose. It’s a portrait of technological longing, invention for a world that no longer needs it.
Printed on premium Canon art paper each 33 cm x 48 cm print is individually numbered and part of a limited run, exclusive to the CWNTR store.
A tribute to beautiful dysfunction, “The Retrograder” invites you to rewind.
